Share the Journey walk, Chirk, Ruabon and Llangollen

Thank you so much to Fr Anthony Nnamah and all of the parishioners from the Parish of St Richard Gwyn in Chirk, Ruabon and Llangollen, for participating in the Share the Journey campaign recently.

The walk was a huge success, with 24 people walking 3 miles meaning we can add a great 72 miles onto our online totaliser!

Sinead, who organised the walk alongside Rachael, said “The walk went really well! I thought it was easy to organise, and great fun”.

By June 2018 we reached our initial goal of 24,900 miles – the distance around the world. Now we want to walk a second time around the world. We are currently on 43,993 miles and we can add another 72 miles which we have recently walked here in Wrexham Diocese!

If you are yet to add some miles on to our totaliser, it’s not too late! Get in touch with a CAFOD volunteer in your parish to see when and where you can take part in a Share the Journey Walk or organise one yourself. It is so easy to do, just order your resources from our online shop and pick your date.
