Share the Journey in Newtown

The parish in Newtown has completed a very successful Share the Journey walk recently. An amazing 30 people walked a mile to show their solidarity with refugees and migrants.

In addition two amazing individuals dedicated their walks to Share the Journey and added their miles to the online totaliser. One individual walking 40 miles and Sister Maureen walking 24 miles, we can’t thank you enough for your amazing support.

Share the Journey invites us to walk in solidarity with refugees and migrants. By walking you will send a powerful message to world leaders that they too need to step up and protect the rights of people on the move.

Take action on the refugee crisis and show your support for people forced to flee their homes.

Sign our petition asking the Prime Minister to ensure that the UK takes a lead during UN refugee negotiations and organise a solidarity walk in your parish or community.

Organising a walk is so easy to do, just download our organisers guide and resources and pick a date and route. Don’t forget to tell us at CAFOD North Wales so we can shout about all the great walks you are organising in our Diocese!
